Preaching
Bible preaching is the focal point of each service. In addition to our weekly services, we have regular Revival Meetings and various conferences throughout the year.

Sunday School Classes for all ages every Sunday at 9:30 am.
Scripture Assembly Ministry
Sunday Evening
Children's Class
Children's Sunday Night Program Ministry: Weekly meetings for ages Kindergarten- 6th grade, with a Bible lesson, snacks, and games.
Patch the Pirate Club
Nursery and Toddler Church (every service) and 1st-3rd Grade Jr. Church (Sunday mornings): Staffed by church volunteers on a rotating basis.
Pee Wee Patch the Pirate Club
Meeting every Wednesday, September thru May, 2 yrs old-Kindergarten.
Visitation Ministry
Door-to-door program from April thru October. Also, visitation of the sick, the absent, and the shut-ins. Special tract distribution month every April.
In conjunction with Beacon of Truth Baptist Ministries, Scriptures are assembled weekly on Tuesdays, 9:00 am & 6:30 pm. Dry Run Independent Baptist Church is the home church for Beacon of Truth Baptist Ministries.
Ladies’ Prayer
Every Thursday at 6:00 pm at the church.
Meeting every Wednesday, September thru May, Grades 1-6
Jolly 60’s
Meeting at the church every fourth Thursday from March thru December. Lunch follows at an area restaurant.
Men’s Prayer Meeting
Every Saturday at 6:30 am at the church. Breakfast follows at an area restaurant.
Music Ministry
Singing in the choir, playing an instrument, and special music are all great avenues of service to the Lord. Those interested should read the requirements posted on the bulletin board in the vestibule.
Summer Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School is held in June every year. See our events page for the exact date.
Media Ministry
Sermons are available on CD. CD request forms are on the table in the vestibule.
Van Ministry
Vans run for all services except for inclement weather.
Local Ministries
The Altoona Bible Institute meets every Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:50 pm, and the Altoona Rescue Mission and Thrift Store.
